YOUNG AUTHOR'S WRITING CONTEST

The theme for the Young Authors' Project for 2013-2014 is "Happily Ever After-What's Your Story?" Young Authors are encouraged to tell stories that are meaningful to them. Students and Forever Young (Adult) writers may choose to write in prose or poetry about a true experience, such as a positive end to a difficult situation or an effective solution to a problem. They may write about a song, poem, story or book that speaks of a bright future or someone who encourages them to keep working toward a goal, pointing to a happy ending. Let your students experiment with fiction or non-fiction, prose or poetry. They will surprise you.
